SAP MDG Article Expert

Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Article Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate understand all the Article Models that are relevant for SAP (Generic/Variant, BOM, Displays, Single Article etc) - Must have led customers through Design Workshops and completed multiple Business Process Design Documents. Must have experience in conversion from legacy systems. Must have exposure to SAP MDG utopia is critical.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize SAP MDG for managing article master data in alignment with business requirements.
• Proven experience in at least 2 projects in the role of MDG Article Expert .
• Better Understanding of Merchandise Category
• Candidate should have exposure and understanding Article master structure of S4 Hana
• Excellent Understanding of Business Partner Concept
• Excellent Understanding of Site Master concept
• Excellent Understanding of Assortment and Listing Concept
• Must have concept of Article Hierarchy
• Should be strong at concept of Mass maintenance of Master Data Objects
• Great exposure to MDG Utopia
• Design, implement, and maintain data models, workflows, and data validations specific to article management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand master data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate users on SAP MDG article management processes and best practices.
• Perform data analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and data quality enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MDG article-related issues.
• Stay updated with SAP MDG latest features, patches, and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven 6 years of experience working with SAP MDG, with a focus on article master data.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG configurations, data models, workflows, and validations.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
• Experience with SAP ECC integration and data migration activities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP MDG certification (preferred).
• 100% travel required.
• Immediate start

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience in other areas of SAP MDG (e.g., customer, vendor, material).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Project management skills.
