SAP Material Management Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP MM solutions, and providing support for SAP MM modules. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP MM processes, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a strong technical background in SAP ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional specifications.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP MM solutions, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and invoice verification.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical consultants, and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Customize SAP MM modules to meet business needs, including configuration of master data, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics invoice verification.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP MM solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for SAP MM modules, resolving issues and ensuring system stability.
• Conduct training sessions and provide user support for SAP MM processes.
• Document functional designs, test cases, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MM features, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in project planning, including timeline and resource estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP MM module implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP MM modules.
• Experience with integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, WM, FI/CO).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP MM certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Ariba and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with occasional travel to client sites.
• Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
