SAP HANA Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP HANA solutions to support business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a strong technical background in SAP HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP HANA solutions based on business requirements.
• Analyze business processes and provide recommendations for SAP HANA-based improvements.
• Create and optimize data models using SAP HANA, including schemas, views, procedures, and functions.
• Perform SAP HANA installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain SAP HANA systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP HANA.
• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure SAP HANA solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
• Document technical designs, test cases, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA features, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in project planning, including timeline and resource estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP HANA implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling, and database design.
• Proficiency in SQL and SAP HANA SQLScript.
• Experience with SAP HANA data provisioning techniques such as SLT, SDI, and SDA.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA security, backup, and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP HANA certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP HANA XS and SAP HANA XS Advanced.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
