SAP BASIS Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of SAP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BASIS tasks, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a strong technical background in SAP systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user administration, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage SAP system landscapes, including transport management, system copies, and refreshes.
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems.
• Conduct regular system health checks and performance optimizations to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve issues and support project implementations.
• Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package implementations.
• Ensure compliance with SAP security guidelines, including role-based access control and user authentication.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP BASIS technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in project planning, including timeline and resource estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and support.
• Strong understanding of SAP BASIS tasks and best practices.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows) and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP BASIS certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and S/4HANA conversion/migration projects.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
